Two Exchange Paths
After signing up, you choose which exchange your agent will trade on. Each has a different setup flow:

Create Your Account
Go to beta.kromosom.ai and click "Login with Google". Select your Google account to authenticate.
Choose Your Exchange
Select which exchange your agent will trade on: Hyperliquid or Aster. This determines the setup flow for the next steps.
Path A — Hyperliquid
Connect Your Wallet
Select your installed wallet (MetaMask is recommended) and approve the connection.
Deposit Funds
Deposit USDC on Arbitrum from your wallet. Use the percentage buttons (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, MAX) for quick selection. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Approve & Go Live
Approve the Hyperliquid agent and the builder fee via wallet signatures. Your agent will activate and begin trading.
Path B — Aster
Deposit Funds on Aster
Deposit funds directly on the Aster blockchain through your Aster account.
Enter Your Aster API Credentials
Create an account on Aster, generate an API Key and Secret Key, and enter them in Kromosom.
Select a Strategy & Go Live
Choose a strategy, configure your agent, and it will begin trading on Aster.
Your agent is now live. Monitor its performance from the Explore dashboard or the My Portfolio page.

Create an Account Sign up for Kromosom using your Google account.
Step-by-Step
Navigate to the Login Page
Open your browser and go to beta.kromosom.ai. You will see the "Welcome to Kromosom" login screen.
Click "Login with Google"
Click the "Login with Google" button. A Google account chooser popup will appear.
Select Your Google Account
Choose the Google account you'd like to use. If your account isn't listed, click "Use another account" to sign in.
Wait for Authentication
You'll see a "Completing authentication..." loading screen. This typically takes a few seconds. Once complete, you'll be redirected to the platform.
By creating an account, you agree to Kromosom's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, linked on the login page.
Choose Exchange & Connect Select your exchange and link your account to start trading.
After logging in, you'll choose which exchange your agent will trade on. Kromosom supports two exchanges, each with a different connection method.
Option 1: Hyperliquid — Connect a Wallet
If you choose Hyperliquid, you connect a crypto wallet from your browser.

Wallet Connection Steps
Select Your Wallet
On the "Connect a Wallet" dialog, you'll see wallets installed in your browser listed under "Installed". MetaMask appears under "Recommended". Click your preferred wallet.
Approve the Connection
Your wallet extension will pop up asking you to approve the connection to kromosom.ai. Review and click "Connect".
Confirm Your Wallet is Linked
Once connected, you'll see your wallet address displayed in the platform. You're now ready to deposit funds.
The "Connect a Wallet" dialog includes a "Get a Wallet" button and a "Learn More" link to help you set up a wallet if you don't have one yet.
Option 2: Aster — API Key Connection
If you choose Aster, you connect by providing API credentials from your Aster account.
Create an Aster Account
If you don't already have one, create an account on the Aster exchange and deposit funds on the Aster blockchain.
Generate API Credentials
In your Aster account settings, generate an API Key and Secret Key. These allow Kromosom to execute trades on your behalf.
Enter Credentials in Kromosom
Paste your API Key and Secret Key into Kromosom. Once verified, your Aster account is linked and ready to go.
Unlike Hyperliquid, you deposit funds directly through your Aster account on the Aster blockchain — not through Kromosom's deposit flow.
Deposit Funds Add USDC to your Kromosom account to start trading.
This deposit flow applies to Hyperliquid. If you're using Aster, deposit funds directly through your Aster account on the Aster blockchain instead.
After connecting your wallet, you'll be directed to the onboarding wizard with three tabs: Intro, Deposit, and Agent Creation. Click on the "Deposit" tab.

Step-by-Step
Enter Amount
Type the amount you want to deposit, or use the quick-select percentage buttons. Your Available Balance is shown below the input field.
Switch to Arbitrum (if needed)
If your wallet isn't on the Arbitrum network, you'll see a "Switch to Arbitrum" button. Click it and approve the network switch in your wallet.
Click "Deposit"
Click the "Deposit" button. Your wallet will pop up with a spending cap request for USDC.
Confirm in Wallet
Review the spending cap details in your wallet (Spender address, Network: Arbitrum, Token: USDC) and click "Confirm".
Wait for Confirmation
The button will show "Processing Deposit..." while the transaction is being confirmed on-chain. Once complete, a green "Deposit successful!" notification will appear.
Make sure you have enough USDC on the Arbitrum network in your wallet before depositing. If your USDC is on Ethereum mainnet or another chain, you'll need to bridge it to Arbitrum first.
Withdraw Funds Move funds back from Kromosom to your wallet.
You can withdraw funds at any time from the top navigation bar on the dashboard.
How to Withdraw
Click "Withdraw Funds"
From the Explore or My Portfolio page, click the "Withdraw Funds" button in the top navigation bar.
Enter Withdrawal Amount
Specify the amount of USDC you wish to withdraw back to your connected wallet.
Confirm the Transaction
Approve the withdrawal transaction in your wallet. Funds will be returned to your wallet on the Arbitrum network.
If you have active agents, make sure withdrawing won't reduce your balance below your agents' required investment amounts. Agents may need to be paused or stopped before a full withdrawal.

When creating a trading agent, you choose from one of the following strategies. Each strategy uses different models, time horizons, and risk profiles.

Create a Trading Agent Configure and launch an autonomous trading agent.
After depositing funds, navigate to the "Agent Creation" tab (the third tab in the onboarding wizard) or click "New Agent +" from the dashboard.
Agent Creation Wizard
The wizard has a multi-step progress indicator. Here's each step:
Step 1: Select a Strategy
Choose from the available strategies (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Momentum Master, etc.). Each shows its APY and number of active investors.
Step 2: Configure Your Agent

The investment amount cannot exceed your Available Balance (shown below the input). Use the "MAX" button to allocate your full balance.

Step 3: Approve Hyperliquid Agent
Click "Approve Agent" to create an API wallet on Hyperliquid for your agent. This requires a wallet signature. A success message "Agent approved and API wallet created successfully!" confirms completion.
Step 4: Approve Builder Fee
Click "Approve Builder Fee" to authorize the platform fee. After wallet confirmation, you'll see "Builder fee approved successfully!"
Step 5: Agent Activation
After both approvals, your agent will be created and you'll be redirected to the Explore dashboard. The agent status will initially show "Activating" (orange dot) and then transition to "Active" (green dot) once ready.

Creating Additional Agents
Click the "New Agent +" button on the Explore dashboard to create additional agents. You can run multiple agents simultaneously with different strategies.

Updating Investment

1x Leverage: No leverage — lower risk.
2x Leverage: Doubles exposure — amplifies both gains and losses.
What is the Hyperliquid Agent approval?
When you create an agent, you approve an API wallet on Hyperliquid that allows the agent to execute trades. This is a wallet signature, not a fund transfer.
What is the Builder Fee?
The Builder Fee is how Kromosom earns revenue — it is paid by Hyperliquid, not by you. During agent creation, we ask for your approval so we can collect this fee. Nothing is deducted from your funds.
Can I withdraw at any time?
Yes, but we recommend pausing your agent first. If there are any active positions, allow the agent to close them before withdrawing. Once positions are closed, use the "Withdraw Funds" button to send funds back to your wallet.
